Maureen O’Gara-Adford is a professional who has over 32 years of experience in both the public sector as well as the private sector of accounting. This experience working on both sides of the industry enables her to offer consulting services to a variety of businesses and to improve their operations, internal controls and overall profitability.
Specializations include manufacturing, construction, software development, distributorships, automobile and motorcycle dealerships, restaurants and other specialized industries. Her approach to examining problems and determining the proper course of action is a definite strength to any organization.
Maureen graduated from California State University Northridge, joined gish SEIDEN LLP in 1986, and became Partner in 1999. Maureen became Managing Partner in 2006, making her the first female to hold the position in the firm’s history.

Martin D. Seiden possesses a high level of technical expertise as the partner in charge of taxation standards for our firm. His 40+ year experience in the areas of small business accounting, income taxes, auditing, fiduciary accounting and estate planning is extensive. Marty continues the firm’s commitment to help clients select the best possible option available to them for minimizing taxes and maximizing results.
A 1975 graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, Marty became a Certified Public Accountant in 1977. Marty joined our firm in 1978 and became Partner in 1986.
Marty is currently a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the California Society of Certified Public Accountants, the Woodland Hills Tax and Estate Planning Council, and the ProVisors Professionals Networking Group. Jessica Sprague is a Tax Director in the Firm’s tax practice. Jessica has more than 15 years of experience providing business tax planning strategies and tax compliance services for clients operating in a wide variety of industries.
Jessica has tremendous and deep expertise in a multitude of business taxation areas including: partnerships, corporations, multi-state, and state and local. Barry Wolfe is a senior audit manager who has an immense amount of experience the private sector of accounting. With 40 years of expertise, Barry primarily focuses on advisory services to his clients. He works on audits, reviews, agreed upon procedures, mergers & acquisitions, as well as advises companies in cash flow improvement, capital needs and credit capacity.
Throughout his career, Barry has obtained comprehensive experience working with clients in various industries; some include: Manufacturing/Distribution, Real Estate, Automotive Dealerships, and Commercial Lenders among numerous others.
Barry works through company business plans and provides valid assessments of their capital needs. He determines credit capacity in order to best match financing with a businesses’ needs. Barry has underwritten credits from the lender’s point of view which makes him a unique resource for building a credit memo for companies in need of working capital or long-term financing. Barry’s attentiveness and dedication to the work has helped him develop a solid trust between him and his clients.

Martin Eisenberg has over 25 years of experience providing tax compliance, planning, and consulting services to high-net worth individuals, closely held businesses, and family offices. As a tax manager at gish SEIDEN, Sargis focuses on preparing and reviewing high level individual income tax returns and business income tax returns (C corps, S corps, Partnerships) as well as Trusts, Estates, and Gift Tax Returns. Sargis has been a CPA for 14 years and has worked in public accounting for more than 20. With this vast amount of experience, he has been able to service the various needs of his diverse clientele. In addition to his tax expertise, Sargis is fluent in four languages – English, German, Assyrian, and Farsi.
Sargis joined gish SEIDEN in 2016 with an estate and trust specialty. He has further established his knowledge and has become well versed in handling the various complexities of this niche. Cindy is the Firm Administrator at award winning CPA firm gish SEIDEN LLP in Woodland Hills. After receiving her B.S. in Finance at the University of San Diego in 1986, she worked for another firm before coming to gish in 1995 where she has been ever since. From her start, she has seen and been a part of the growth in the industry as well as within gish SEIDEN itself.
Cindy works very closely with the COO and with the Managing Partner in an effort to keep the firm running smoothly and proficiently. She oversees the hiring of all new admin staff and has increased her department from when she first started in 1995. Alongside HR and her administrative duties, Cindy has implemented new management benefits and has switched the firm to a better 401(k) provider. She has also upgraded the firm’s Practice Management system to a newer, more efficient software.
After tax season, Cindy organizes an annual firm retreat in which the entire firm takes part in a 2-day meeting away from the office. Its main mission is to establish objectives and to reach an overall consensus on an organizational structure amongst all staff and committees. It is a chance to have open communication with everyone to identify the direction of the firm and how everyone can improve. It is also a chance for the staff to participate in fun team building activities.
